We are excited to welcome Dr. Tracey Ritzman, DVM, DABVP (Avian & Exotic Companion Mammal) to our practice!
Dr. Tracey Ritzman is originally from Ohio, and attended North Carolina State University for both undergrad and veterinary school. She has worked all over the United States, including stops in Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Arizona, and Michigan. During this time, she has been involved in leading or creating exotic animal practice services in these locations. She is a double boarded specialist, having passed the rigorous requirements set forth by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) for both Avian Practice and Exotic Companion Mammal Practice. She has been involved in speaking at local, national and international conferences on topics concerning exotic pets, and has also mentored veterinary students, veterinary technicians and veterinary technician students. Dr. Griffin and Dr. Ritzman have been colleagues and great friends for over 20 years, and have often wondered what it might be like to work together on a daily basis. Luckily for our practice, we are going to find out how much Dr. Ritzman can add to our hospital! Dr. Edgerton has also known Dr. Ritzman for over 10 years, and we are all sure that our newest doctor will fit right in with our fantastically unusual work family. We would like to welcome Dr. Ritzman, her husband Anjan, and their son Rohan. We are so excited to have you become part of our team!
Dr. Ritzman is scheduled to start seeing appointments on Monday, August 9, 2021.

I just had my sweet bunny neutered and I feel really good taking my fur friend here. Dr. Edgerton was great and the secretary is so kind and helpful. They called me a day after the procedure to check on him and that means alot.
